From the A48 (Grenoble): follow signs for Grenoble $\rightarrow$ Bourg-d'Oisans $\rightarrow$ Alpe d'Huez via the RD1091, then the famous hairpin road.
From the A43 (Chambéry / Lyon): head toward Grenoble via the A48, then follow signs for Bourg-d'Oisans.
Final section: a 21 km climb with 21 hairpin bends between Bourg-d'Oisans and the resort.

BUS

Regular lines from Grenoble to Bourg-d'Oisans, then to Alpe d'Huez (Transisère network / regional coaches).
Seasonal shuttles departing from train stations and airports (Lyon, Grenoble, Geneva).

Train

Grenoble (1h30 from the resort): main station with TGV (high-speed train) service.
Chambéry: 2h.
Lyon Part-Dieu / Saint-Exupéry: 2h30 to 3h.
Connections: from these stations, bus or shuttle connections are available to Bourg-d'Oisans, followed by the ascent to the resort.
