From the A48 (Grenoble): follow signs for Grenoble $\rightarrow$ Bourg-d'Oisans $\rightarrow$ Alpe d'Huez via the RD1091, then the famous hairpin road.
From the A43 (Chambéry / Lyon): head toward Grenoble via the A48, then follow signs for Bourg-d'Oisans.
Final section: a 21 km climb with 21 hairpin bends between Bourg-d'Oisans and the resort.
